Roads

She's on a road,
One that's long and winding,
Her hairs flickers in the breeze,
The car window wound down,
The road shining.
She looks to the sky,
Searching through the endless possibilities,
Her mind whirling around and around.
She shuts her eyes,
Comfort found.
The wheels roll on,
Like a long heart warming film,
Smiles won.
Suddenly the wind changes,
She slumps back in her seat,
The taxi fee now paid,
She gets out,
Then runs.
